After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

The Show Floor
In the big picture most trade shows are about the same, of course exhibits will change along with the venue but generally speaking once you have been to a particular show they tend to remain the same from one year to the next.
This was the case for AEE 2010 (at least for me) In looking around the show floor many of the big names had reserved the same booth space as last year and even had them laid out the same. That Is not to say the event was not interesting, in fact it was far from it however this trend speaks to the industry and gives the indication that they don't really see competition from other companies when it comes to establishing a fan base.
Had this been CES or Computex companies will fight over booth location and often times pay extra to get the choice traffic locations to ensure a successful show.
Here are some shots from around the AEE show floor.
