CES 2008 Day 2

Patriot memory was one of the few companies that had an offsite meeting location this year instead of a real booth on the CES floor.  In some ways a suite is better than a booth especially for a show like CES where the majority of visitors are not interested in high performance memory modules. 

However finding them becomes extremely difficult, unless you know where to look before hand.

Patriot had several new and exciting products on display including the new Viper line of memory modules.  The Viper line is the high-performance extension to their overclocking memory and comes complete with a new heat spreader design.  The heatspreaders feature a vertical fin construction that extends above the module to increase surface area and is built from a special copper'ish alloy that will dissipate heat faster than copper or aluminum.

We have yet to test these modules but plan to in the near future.

SuperTalent had their normal booth in the Sands convention center with several items on display including a new line of enthusiast friendly memory.

The blue gaming case was from Maingear featured a complete line of Super Talent products including a 128GB SSD.
