After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Intel and Crucial
Intel
We did stop by the Intel booth and was even able to talk to a few marketing and technical folks. This is quite a change from the first Comdex we had ever attended. Intel has always been a big exhibitor at any of the CES shows. Truth be told they didn’t have much to show off this year. X58 and i7 had already been released and there was nothing else in the foreseeable future.
Everything was blue; sadly most of my photos didn’t turn out as a result.
Crucial
Ahh what can we say about Crucial….
Ya I don’t have anything either.
The new tri-channel Ballistix is pretty sweet but you have to get the tracer modules to get the full effect. Basically they took the original tracer design and extended the LEDs outwards. Nice effect, sadly no video.

Crucial had a globe hooked up with red lights pointing to various cities. The lights were powered thru fiberoptic cable and the new Ballistix memory modules provided the light. Kind of a neat trick, sadly it didn't photo well.
