After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Silverstone Booth
After living thru "Hotel Hell" it was back to the convention center to finish out the day and meet up with some other folks we missed on Day 1. (Which was pretty much everyone)
Silverstone was first on the list and their booth featured the normal items such as fans and power supplies. Silverstone is taking the stance that they have too many different power supplies and have now focused on taking the best of everything they designed and putting it into a single line of power supplies. The new Strider series is completely modular and so far comes in sizes up to 1500w.
MiniITX is quickly becoming the form factor of choice in the media center PC and Silverstone has the smallest MiniITX cases you can get that can also support full sized Radeon HD 5870 and large cooling fan.
What you don't see is the full sized Strider power supply tucked in under the optical drive.
