Other Corporate Disappointments
AMD
AMD made quite a few announcements at Comdex I was tipped off that a rather large one was to happen on Tuesday
so we dropped by the AMD booth to get the skinny on when it would happen. The reply was simply "check back
at 2:00". A little before 2 we staked out the rather small AMD booth and waited for the news. 2:00 came
and went with no posting, needless to say some of the same words targeted at ATI and Intel were repeated,
and rather loudly I might add. Later it was noted that the real announcement was taking place at
the AMD keynote and NOT at the AMD booth.

Based on the photos I did see the GeForce FX wasn't much to look at so I'm not completely heart broken.
