After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    GSkill

GSkill was our last unofficial stop of Day 2, we had to leave the Nangang building to meet some friends at the Grand Hyatt which also gave us an opportunity to visit the Taiwan memory maker GSkill.

As with most memory makers GSkill has a wide selection of memory products from every day memory modules to the varying levels of overclocker and enthusiast lines.
One of the big focuses with all of the memory makers is enhanced cooling.  Corsair started the whole trend with the DHX technology and since then everybody has started to follow with similar products.  GSkill has opted to offer configurable cooling tops to their memory that can be setup for passive or active cooling schemes.
The Pi series is also new and features an extended heatsink in an alternating arc pattern.  Half pi’s if you will.  (sorry poor math joke)
