After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

LianLi
We met with Taiwanese case maker LianLi at CES this year and being their cases are still popular here in the states we decided to see what new things they had on display.
The newest LianLi cases have adopted a 3 section design to separate the various components. The top zone is usually for user accessible drives, the middle zone is for the motherboard and other electronics while the lowest zone is a mechanical space for HDDs, power supplys, watercooling or whatever else you need space for.

The first case is designed to sit flat against a wall and has the external drive bays facing the side panelt of the case instead of the traditional front. This requires a hole in the side panel but looks nice otherwise.
