After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain.  I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain.  If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

    DFI and LanParty

DFI was rather excited about Computex this year and for good reason their LanParty UT X58 board won a Computex award and was featured in all of the publications.
The one new technology on display was the ability to flash your BIOS from another working PC even if your LanParty motherboard will no longer boot.  The board featured for this technology is the UT P55 but it should work on all of the new ones.
Computex is a great way to see all of the latest LanParty motherboards on display at the same time and having them side by side gives you a chance to see firsthand how different each motherboard is respective of its position in the LanParty family.

The neon green that some of you have come to love will actually be going away in favor of the orange and black combination you'll find on the UT and DK P55 motherboards.
DFI was also selected as a premier vendor for Falcon Northwest so you can expect to find LanParty Jr boards in all of their upcoming gaming systems.
