After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

The BloodRage is a top of the line enthusiast motherboard from Foxconn that features the Intel X58 chipset. You will find a total of five PCI Express slots on this board, four of which will accept full length video cards.
Most overclockers will agree that the BloodRage was one of the best X58 motherboards to come out of the Quantum Force lineup due in part to the variety of enthusiast friendly features.

As the chart indicates the PCI Express lanes are divided up evenly across the available slots with the red ones acting as primary. When the secondary (black) slots are activated the 16x lanes are divided with 8x lanes each
The available slot layout indicates that the Foxconn BloodRage is optimized for both dual and quad card configurations with a preference for two cards only. A triple card configuration is possible however single slot coolers will be a must.
