Soltek SL-K890Pro-939 Review w/ PCI Express

Introduction
Ladies and Gentlemen: We are pleased to announce the next installment in the Soltek Pro 939 series of Athlon64 motherboards, the SL-K890Pro-939. We've been looking forward to seeing more of Soltek's 939 offerings since our last review and we intend to see if the new offering can keep up with its AGP enabled cousin.
In this review we will be looking at the PCI express enabled motherboard using the new VIA K8T890 Pro chipset. This chipset is very similar to the KT800 Pro with one very major difference, 20x lanes of PCI Express instead of AGP. Given the Intel push to use PCI Express it is rather exciting to see the technology migrate to the Athlon 64.
As with other Pro-Series motherboards from Soltek the SL-K890Pro-939 features a shiny black PCB with purple expansion slots, there are a few gold highlights to indicate key locations on the board. Where this motherboard differs slightly is the inclusion of PCI express indicated by the white expansion slots. The longest of the 4 is designed for video cards and contains 16x PCIe lanes; the 3 smaller slots contain a single PCIe lane and would be your run of the mill expansion slot.
