NEC unveils DDR-II

"The first configurations are 18-megabit at 33-MHz. A 36-Mbit version is planned for an unspecified debut in the future.
Samples of both type SRAMs are available at $80 each. Production quantities and pricing are scheduled for Q3 '02." -

Licensing Dispute Over 533MHz FSB?
Published: Thursday, April 11, 2002 | By: DennisI pose this as a question because we have already seen a few instances of regular Pentium 4 chips running overclocked at 533MHz FSB, so what is to stop SiS, VIA, and others from licensing the 400MHz FSB from Intel, then giving consumers the ability to run 533MHz FSB chips on those chipsets in using an "overclocked" FSB setting??.
