This is a short review of a pre-modded GlobalWin 8070 Aluminum case. The case looks pretty cool though what is the fun in buying a pre-modded case when its so much fun to do yourself?? Then again some people just don't have enough time and plenty of money.

Published: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 | By: Dennis

Well I got my collector edition Return to Castle Wolfenstein Tin Box this evening and started playing when I got home. Except for the occasional BSOD the game is loads of fun to play.

So what is so special about the tin box? Not much really, in the box you get the game, manual, a Wolfenstein iron on patch and poster. Plus if you where able to get the Quake3 tin you will have a matching set.

pr0n is big business and who better to attack but the high profile and greedy. wink smile

Seriously speaking this stresses the importance on Internet security not only for the online consumer but also to the company providing the service. Keep in mind that nothing is secure on the web, and if you choose to conduct your business on the web you run the risk of this happening to you.

  • Comdex Motherboards @ Anandtech

Published: Monday, November 19, 2001 | By: Dennis

Anandtech rounds up all of the motherboards that they saw at Comdex and gives us a peek into what we can expect to see this next year, very interesting to say the least.

  • Shuttle AV45GTR Review @ Tbreak

Published: Monday, November 19, 2001 | By: Dennis

T-Break gets to have all the fun this time they review a new P4 motherboard from shuttle, and this one is even based on the VIA P4X266A chipset. I think the Shuttle name rings a bell in all of us, not because of its flashy colors or strange name, "Spacewalker", but rather because just about everyone has owned a Shuttle motherboard at least once in their lifetime.

  • TechTV to Cut 130 Jobs

Published: Sunday, November 18, 2001 | By: Dennis

Not much has been reported on this but Wired claims that 130 people or about 25% of the workforce at TechTV will need to be let go due to "current market conditions"

We can only hope that Leo Laporte is one of them, when he is on vacation or traveling about The ScreenSavers is a much better show.

  • MSI DDR333 Motherboard MS-6547

Published: Thursday, November 15, 2001 | By: Dennis

A few days ago MSI released their motherboard based on the SiS645 chipset. I'm kind of liking the layout of this board the modem riser is located at the bottom of the motherboard, and there is an entire PCI slot missing adjacent to the AGP. Quite uncommon to see this but I believe it will start becoming a mainstream feature.
