    PCPOP is an amazing site though the only drawback is that the site is in Chinese, of which I cannot read. I am in the process of getting a translation, though until then I would suggest that you check it out. The direct link goes to what looks to be (based on size and layout) a pre-production motherboard based on the KT266A chipset. Down at the bottom of the page is links to other KT266A motherboards.

    MSI has gone gun ho with the red PCB's after the release of the limited edition K7T, they now seem to have 4 motherboards using the red resist along with a MX400 video card.

    All things aside it would appear that we are on to something with this KT266A chipset, DDR memory scores are going though the roof.

  • Removal of Floppy Bogus?

    A couple of days ago we posted that on a leaked document from Intel they had requested the removal of floppy drives and PS/2 ports. Today they respond by saying that the document was interpreted incorrectly. Instead Intel claims that they are giving mfg's and OEM's the option of not including the floppy drive and other legacy connections in their products in their new chipsets.
