Ninjalane starts hardware reviews
Published: Wednesday, November 22, 2000 | By: DennisThe nice guys at the Freeway Designs home office in Taipei. Where nice enough to send me a sample of one of their latest products the FWD-P3C4XD for review.
This board features dual socket 370 processors, AGP Pro, onboard sound, and a sexy red PCB. That is to not mention a variety of core voltages and FSB to 166 MHz.
I see quite a potential with this board. -

The buzz about the P4
Published: Monday, November 20, 2000 | By: DennisThe infamous non-NS6 compatible website [H]ardocp got their hands on a P4 fitted with the works. Other sites out there have also posted P4 goodness. They are..
Anandtech
Toms Hardware (with a crappy logo on the front page.
Firingsquad
Dan's Data
I'm sure more will surface in the near future but this should wet the whistle for the time being. -
4-way internal fanbus
Published: Sunday, November 19, 2000 | By: DennisHere is something cool that Saltire Systems sent to me.
Saltire Systems is proud to announce that our 4-way internal fanbus solution is to be stocked by The Overclocking Store here in the UK. This is a big moment for us to have one of our own products stocked by a major PC hardware player in the UK Overclocking market. The fanbus unit can be found in the "overclocking hardware" section in the store, priced at £17.62 including VAT. Free 1-3 day delivery is available on all their products.

Game tweak guide
Published: Friday, November 17, 2000 | By: DennisNT Compatible posted a game tweak guide for Windows NT/2K on their site. Some of the things that they talk about are pretty simple solutions to increase performance but some of the others I didn't even know about. Take a look.

Tyan Tiger 230
Published: Wednesday, November 15, 2000 | By: DennisIt would seem that Tyan has been busy. In checking out their site today I found this link. Another dual processor board from Tyan and this one looks alot like the rest. A couple of key points.
Onboard Audio
ATA 100 support
The design seems to follow what I call the "reference" design. So far all of the dual socket 370 boards have the same layout, brings back memories of the GeForce 256 of days gone by. -
Quake 3 on ABC News
Published: Wednesday, November 15, 2000 | By: DennisNever thought I would see it but ABC news as conservative as they are have posted a article about the new Quake 3 for the Dreamcast. Personally I'm not much for console gaming but heck with a title like Quake 3 and the ability to frag on the net from a 52 inch big screen. I might just go and buy it.

Pricecombat
Published: Tuesday, November 14, 2000 | By: DennisI suspect that many of you have already seen this site but I'm going to share it anyway. In my email today (most of which is usually junk) I found this. PriceCombat. It seems that Pricewatch now has some competition. Curious I checked out the prices for a 128 megs of RDRAM and the lowest price was 109 bucks!!. Makes me think.. I might be able to afford that i840 dually board.
