After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Painting Part 1 - Prep and Paint
As always you begin your painting projects with a nice even coat of primer. I like sandable gray primer it
dries very light and accepts 400grit sandpaper quite well. Just make sure to primer over the sanded areas again to seal the
surface.
The next step would be to apply color to the sanded pieces. In these photos you can see the
faceplate to the DVDROM drive. When painting your case nothing spoils the look more than unpainted ROM and floppy drives.
Just be careful when removing the cover from the drive tray, it is possible to snap off an important piece making reassembly quite
difficult.
