After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

Conclusion
Aircooling is the tried and true method for system cooling and for every one cooler you find you will find 20+ more that perform the same if not better than the first. The Alpha PAL8150 is certainly is one of the chosen few that can actually outperform many coolers on the market and thus keeps with the rich Alpha tradition.
In preparation for the Ninjalane launch into Athlon64 board reviews the Alpha PAL8150 was chosen to be the cooling solution in the Ninjalane Labs. This was based on previous experience with Alpha products and aside from the unnecessarily loud fan and fact we couldn't use it on the system it was purchased for we are still completely and totally impressed.
Now for the ever popular list of Good things and Bad things.
The Good Things
Excellent cooling
Monster heatsink, impress your friends
Variety of fan options including some not stock to Alpha
Big CFMs = Big cooling
