Benchmarks Synthetic
The test systems are not a direct comparison on a few levels but will give you a good cross section on how the 1090T Black Edition compares against some of the modern (and low end) Core processors.

Sandra is a software collection of synthetic benchmarks that will give us a basic idea as to what a system is capable of. It should be noted that SiSoft's numbers change depending on which version you have installed. These were recorded using Sandra Professional Business Version 2010.1.16.11
Synthetic Conclusion
Synthetic performance never really tells the entire story, but is a good indication of what the system would probably be capable of doing under the right conditions.
The results are about what we had expected, in terms of raw CPU performance all of the systems are about the same. The 1090T pulls ahead when it comes to multi media performance and the Core i7 920 takes the lead in memory bandwidth given the triple channel memory controller.
