After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Benchmarks - Overclocked
Overclocking
The highest stable overclock attainable by our 3200+ was 230Mhz FSB. While the board would post and run quite well at 245Mhz FSB whenever anything I/O intensive would occur the system would lockup, or blue screen and reboot. Voltage increases, timing adjustments, and lower multipliers appeared to have no effect.
CPU-Z 230Mhz
Like in previous reviews the overclocking section pits the overclocked system against the same system at default speeds. The scores are pretty straight forward though the numbers tell a less than stellar story. The benchmarks below consist of our standard overclocking benchmarks given the system specs shown above.
