After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

The Ultra 760XP does have VIVO ability and is made possible by this video processor chip from Philips. The decoder supports all of the major video formats but doesn't appear to be of a significantly high quality. For more information on the Philips video processor check out the specs on the Philips website
The card comes with a standard set of connectors including a composite S-Video connection for the VIVO ability. As with all Gainward products the Ultra 760XP comes with a very respectable care package including a standard driver disk, game (Arx Fatalis) WinDVD, s-video connections DVI to D-Sub converter, power splitter and a handy case badge.
Gainward also includes a little program called "EXPERTool" which among other things provides two modes of operation, safe and enhanced. Basically this little program will allow you to overclock your card with the press of a button. Despite only minor gains in performance this can be a great selling point.
