After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Chieftec
Chieftec had several very nice cases on display all with several new and exciting designs.
Some of the interesting products include this case with a perforated door, cooling is still primarily handled under the external drive cages but you won't need to hack the door up to increase airflow.

Some of the other cases shared a similar design in terms of internals however the exterior look varied between the product lines.
One additional thing that is worth mentioning is that all of the new Chieftec cases have employed a mod that we've been doing here at Ninjalane for several years. The mod consists of adding 2 (or more) 80mm fans to the motherboard side of the case. The benefit to this is better cooling and direct airflow over your HDDs.
