After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Case Layout and Features Cont.
The front panel connectors are located at the top of the case and feature connections for USB, audio, and eSATA. Power and reset buttons are located nearby along with the various operational LEDs. This is really the control panel for the entire case. The only thing that would further dress things up is a nice digital display that maybe controls fan RPM or monitors case temperature.
The hard drive cage is rather unique but on the surface it seems very typical. The cage features spots for up to 7 devices with each one held in place with a combination of screws and plastic clips. The unique part is that for once you can position the harddrive rack in one of 2 different orientations. The default installation has the drives facing sidesways but you can reposition the cage and have the drives facing towards the front.
As an added bonus there are also places for 2x 2.5” SSD or laptop drives on the power supply cover. (one above and one below).
The power supply is located at the bottom of the case and has spacers holding the PSU off the bottom of the case. The PSU cover also features locking clip that can be moved to accommodate any size of PSU.
