Benchmarks - Overclocked
Since the EVGA P55 FTW is focused at the middle price range the buyer may go for either the Core i5 750 or the Core i7 860. We decided to test with the Core i5 750 to see how it would do,
As with all of our reviews we pit the default speed system against the overclocked one in a head to head byte match. The results of this are below. The effective overclock for these tests is 4.2Ghz @ 210Mhz.

Overclocking Conclusion
Stepping into the new P55 chipset with the lower end Core i5 750 is somewhat new to us but when dealing with Intel processors it's sometimes for the best. Overclocking on the EVGA P55 FTW yielded some amazing results including stability and how 4.2Ghz was attained with only a few minor tweaks. The end result was a great boost in performance and almost 100 extra frames per second in the game tests.
