After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Included Goodies
The EVGA P55 FTW comes with most everything you see here and is what you would expect from a mid-level motherboard. As you would expect there is more than enough to get you up and running right out of the box.
Driver CD and single language manual are included along with a quick start guide. The quick start guide is close to life size of the motherboard so if you're the type that needs take notes there is plenty of room to do so.
I/O cover plate and SLI bridge, The cover plate features some soft foam padding on the back to help seal the I/O connections so they don't collect as much dust and hair that is common with long running systems.
A common theme with all EVGA motherboards is the color black. Very rarely will you find alternative colors used except to accent important features that need to stand out. All of the cables in the EVGA P55 FTW package are black including SATA power conversion cables.
In case the 6 provided USB ports was not enough you can get an additional 2 and single IEE1394a (Firewire) connection with the included bracket.
