After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Bios Features
The LanParty NFII Ultra BIOS is very straight forward and has options to configure just about anything and even including some features that you will never want to even consider touching. There are two basic sections that you will want to pay attention to. The Genie BIOS and Advanced Chipset since these contain all of the overclocking controls.
Genie BIOS allows clock frequencies up to 300Mhz FSB with the standard set of multipliers. Memory frequencies can be adjusted with preset dividers that move in both directions. For instance you can choose 5:6 or 6:5. Even better is that you can see the resulting memory frequency directly below.
Genie BIOS also controls many of the additional board features allowing you to turn them on and off.

Additional memory controls can be found in the Advanced Chipset section of the BIOS and as you can see DFI has provided a control for everything under the sun. The Optimal setting defaults to what is programmed in the SPD chip.
Now on to the benchmarks!
