After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com
DFI LanParty DK 790FXB Motherboard Review

Included Goodies
The included goodies are somewhat limited but you will get enough gear to be up and running out of the box. Cables include the standard UV reactive and rounded cables for PATA and floppy drives. You will also get a UV reactive SATA cable and power adaptor. A complementary ATX cover plate is included along with some extra jumpers and the new "Smart Connectors". These smart connectors allow you to hook up the front panel wires outside of the case and then install a single block to the motherboard. Basically no more cramped fingers and guessing that you have the power LED hooked up correctly.
Given that 790FXB supports Crossfire it's only fitting that DFI includes bridge modules for the video card.
Finally we have the User's Manual (complete and in 6 languages) ABS (Auto Boost System) manual and driver CD. It should be noted that the User's Manual contains an appendix of POST codes; this is helpful for debugging the system on a failed boot.
