After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

VIA has been known lately to be right on the "bleeding edge" when it comes to adopting the latest and greatest technology.
The most noted and recent of these would be AGP 8x, ATA133 and DDR400. AGP 8x has slowly been gaining market
recognition and both VIA and SiS have released chipsets supporting the new transfer standard. ATA133 has been around for
some time now though aside from 3rd party ATA controller card makers VIA has been the only company to include the technology
in their southbridge chips. Last of the emerging technologies is DDR400. Even though this isn't a JEDEC standard yet
VIA has been offering limited support for DDR400 in their chipsets despite incompatibilities and limited memory configurations.
The KT400 is basically the heart and soul of the SL-75FRV, lets see what else the board has to offer.
