After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. Foxconn Winfast N570SM2AA Motherboard Review

Conclusion
The nVidia 570 is designed to be a mainstream chipset so there is little incentive to turn it into an enthusiast monster however Foxconn has done a pretty good job at including all of the required items to give any high end nForce 5 a run for its money. The available overclocking options cover a wide variety of settings along with an actively cooled MCP and digital power supply. These all give the N570SM2AA a good base for any enthusiast to start with. While we didn't have much luck overclocking the system bus the 2.7Ghz processor clock is quite impressive and can likely be improved with a BIOS update.
Now for the ever popular list of Good things and Bad things.
The Good Things
nForce 570 with SLI
8 SATA ports with nVraid support
Active MCP cooling
Digital power supply
Good set of overclocking controls
