After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W Power Supply Review

Conclusion
All things considered the Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W can support quite a number of systems including high-end overclocking and gaming rigs. The only real limitation comes in the form of PCI Express video card support, which is not a limitation at all. We have been conditioned to always assume we need one power lead per power connection on a video card. Given that this power supply uses two connections per lead you not only save on cabling but get instant 4 card support using the 2 additional modular leads.
Good Things
80+ Gold Rating for 90% efficiency

Bad Things
Not all system will require an extra 12v power connector
