After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com
Silverstone FP35 Bay Card Reader Review

Introduction
Internal Card readers aren't commonly reviewed across the web, most review sites have only done one or two since they first started rolling out to the general public. In this review we have second card reader ever to be featured here at Ninjalane, the Silverstone SST-FP35-B.
This card reader is packed with features, and gives anyone from the everyday user to the power user a large number of uses, from firewire to USB to e-SATA and of course, a very broad range memory card reader.
Let's see how well this card reader functions.
The front of the box displays what the card reader looks like and gives some quick spec's and the back side of the box shows the pin layouts for all the connectors possibly needed.

This side of the box gives more detailed specifications, along with pictures of the card reader with the silver and black front plate on. The opposite side just gives the spec's listed on the front of the box in 8 other languages.
