After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. Gigabyte Radeon HD5770 Video Card Review

Card Layout and Features
The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5770 is a very unique looking graphics card with a dual slot cooler that resembles a certain comic book characters vehicle.
The PCB is a cool Gigabyte blue and since this card is part of the Ultra Durable VGA series you will find the exclusive 2oz. of copper traces for better electrical conductivity and heat dissipation.
Display connections are typical for a desktop application and feature a 2x Dual-Link DVI, Analog VGA D-SUB, and an HDMI. The card comes Eyefinity ready if you are ready to take the 3 monitor plunge.
Another factor in the Ultra Durable product line is the use of higher quality components which typically consist of Solid Japanese Capacitors and Ferrite Core Metal Chokes. These components help promote stable power delivery with a minimum of power loss.
You will need a 6-pin PCI Express power connector to run this card.
Crossfire setups will be limited to a total of 2 cards due to their only being a single Crossfire connector present. This seems to be a "hit or miss" trend among HD 5770 card designers since some reference design cards come with 2 connectors while others do not. This is disappointing to say the least.
