After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Unigine Heaven
Unigine is a synthetic benchmark much like 3DMark 11, but supports the newest of DirectX 11 technologies. The benchmark allows you to select different settings you which to see including traditional settings like Anti Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering to some DirectX 11 centric settings like Tessellation. The beauty of the Heaven Benchmark is that it not only stresses the card but also gives you a chance to see firsthand what a DirectX 11 capable GPU can do to improve your games.
The testing was done with the following settings.
Tessellation: Normal
Anisotropy: 4x
Anti-Aliasing: 4x
Full Screen: Yes
Resolution: 1680x1050
Tessellation: Normal
Anisotropy: 4x
Anti-Aliasing: 4x
Full Screen: Yes
Resolution: 1680x1050
Unigine Heaven
We actually stopped using this benchmark in favor of Dirt 2 for our DirectX 11 test, however given the amount of customization available it might make it back into future tests.
