After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com
SilverStone Sugo SG04 Case Review

Case Construction
Normally during the course of our case reviews we like to focus on the construction aspects of each case. This is important for those of you not only looking for a strong case but also want a good platform for modifications. Here are a few shots of the SUGO SG04; the majority of the connections are your standard aluminum pop rivets holding the SECC steel structure together.
To illustrate how big this case actually is we’ve included a couple photos with a LanParty Jr 790GX motherboard installed. The installation process starts from here and fits together in a sequence starting from the bottom and working your way up.
Notice how the CPU is directly under the PSU? With a standard PSU installed you have about 3.25” of clearance between the motherboard tray and the bottom of the PSU. This is just enough room for a stock CPU cooler or a low profile custom cooler.
Silverstone has even designed a custom cooler specifically for the SUGO SG04 called the NT06 Evolution. The cooler is designed to use the PSU fan to help cool the CPU by pulling air out of the case and across the heatpipe radiator.
