After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.

SilverStone Sugo SG04 Case Review

Conclusion
So when does minimalist design become complex? The answer is in size, the smaller and more compact you make things the better you have to be at accommodating what is inside. The Silverstone SUGO SG04 is a great example of this. From the outside you see a simple and small computer case designed to be portable however you don’t see what is involved until you start to peel back the layers. Motherboards are covered by PSUs, hard drives cover expansion cards, and fans cover wires. This won’t be the most accessible case you have ever worked on but the rewards are well worth the effort.
We are on the verge of an enthusiast system revolution here in the form of an untapped hardware sector called MicroATX. The smaller form factor has often been overlooked by many motherboard makers because it yielded a low return on investment but as we see the hardware segment evolve we will begin to see more case designs to support the new platform. In a way the SUGO SG04 will be the benchmark for all to follow.
Now for the ever popular list of Good things and Bad things.
