After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Benchmarks FarCry
Far Cry is an amazing game that reminds me a lot of Serious Sam in both gameplay and how textures on the map are rendered.
The game requires that DirectX9 be installed though has no problem running on non-DirectX9 compatible hardware.

Once again the XFX FX5700U came in first by a very narrow margin with almost identical results at both resolutions. It would seem that FarCry is very responsive to the speed of the video card unlike the other games tested.
