After careful consideration I have decided to transfer all hardware review activities to a new domain. I purchased Hardwareasylum.com in 2012 and have been working hard to build a new and improved Ninjalane on that domain. If you are reading this you have reached one of the archived articles, news, projects and/or reviews that were left behind during the site migration.
Please update your bookmarks and be sure to visit the new and improved Ninjalane at Hardwareasylum.com

Crysis Warhead
Crysis Warhead is the same game as the first Crysis just being told from the point of view of another soldier named Psycho. The character Psycho is on an island just off the coast of China fighting against North Koreans, and some rather cold hearted aliens. Crysis Warhead is a fully fledged DirectX 10 game that has no mercy on any graphics card to date.
All of the settings per resolution are below, and Anti-Aliasing is turned off during testing.
2560x1600: Gamer
1920x1200: Enthusiast
1680x1050: Enthusiast

Crysis Warfare might have finally met its match at the 2560x1600 against the Sapphire Radeon HD5870. Yes, this is not set to Enthusiast level of game play, but holding over 30FPS at this resolution is one incredible challenge. The other Radeon cards hold on to top honors for the other resolutions and the GTX285 does show that it can play real close to the Radeon HD5870 performance at the 2560x1600 level with using the Gamer setting.
